Atacadista Assaí launched the seventh edition of the Academia Assaí award, with the aim of strengthening small businesses in the food sector across the country. The initiative offers free training in financial management, marketing and sales to all registrants, in addition to rewarding 2,100 entrepreneurs with R$300 and four days of online training. The award includes three categories: sales by order, fixed point of sale and street vendors, and informal companies can also participate. The initiative aims to help micro and small entrepreneurs, especially those affected by the pandemic, to professionalize their businesses and increase their income.
